Sheree, President
Nurturing, knowledgeable and community oriented are just a few words that describe Sheree Wanner president of Camelot Gardens and Gifts. For over fourteen years, Sheree has owned and operated this award winning garden center that spans over five acres.
Complementing her continuing Garden Center Management conferences, workshops are her twenty years in the health care profession with BS in Nursing and Masters in Health Care Administration. Truly, the former medical health care professional has found her niche in fostering the business and staff of Camelot Gardens and Gifts.
"I absolutely love trying to make people feel special either through their shopping experience or the product I try to buy at markets”. Stepping into the store is evidence of her outlook.
Camelot Cares…… . The Montrose community has benefited greatly with the businesses numerous non-profit donations, ranging from flower arrangements, baskets, to unique dazzling holiday décor. The touch and scent of Camelot is a lasting impression.
On the personal side, Sheree is a proud mother of three children ages 22, 19 and 17 and is totally committed to providing her children with a positive and happy childhood. Sheree also enjoys skiing and travel and some good ol’ "chick-flicks" and outings with her friends. And of course…lovingly tending to Queen "Jasmine" and Princess "Lily"!!
Trina, General Manager
What type of fertilizer is best for my roses?” Just one of the many questions General Manager Trina Donahue either answers and or refers on to her well-educated staff on a daily basis. Trina has become a household one-name wonder in and around the Montrose community. After spending just a few minutes with her, you will readily understand why. Trina knows and understands every aspect of the business from products, plants, and perennials to overseeing the landscape service department. House calls and on-site calls are all but a part of areas of expertise and responsibility. Trina’s personal mission for this growing business is that Camelot Gardens and Gifts offer a superior product selection combined with knowledgeable staff with a dedication to excellent customer service”. She makes this happen with her on-going commitment to chemical training and diagnosis skills educational seminars. Customer service, superior products and knowledgeable staff pulls Camelot Gardens and Gifts aside from the others.
Trina hails from San Clemente, California and has one son, age 24 two horses, cats and the most lovable puppy on earth. Trina has resided in Montrose for seventeen years.
KD, Treasurer/ Business Manager
KD is third generation Colorado farmer and rancher and proud of it! She comes to Camelot Gardens and Gifts with over twenty years of construction accounting background. KD’s background and Colorado spirit is a perfect match for the business. She is obviously at home and comfortable in all aspects of business management, accounting and very handy with driving a front loader when the need arises. On a typical day you may find her in the office with accounting duties, unloading a delivery and waiting on the customers.
A goal of KD’s is to “Help make Camelot Gardens and Gifts a premier garden center and to take the next steps to ensure a eco-friendly environment”
When not at work, KD enjoys cattle ranching, riding horse, fishing and enjoying Colorado’s beauty in her 4x4 Ford truck.
Friendly caring staff, excellent customer service, superior products, delivery and installation, locally grown products, extensive award winning holiday gift center, community involvement combined with love and care make up the seeds of success and sustainability for Camelot Gardens and Gift Center.
